Leah's family can no longer care for her due to her own medical condition. She loves her very much and only wants the best for her and her other dogs. In her own words, this is what she says about Leah. "Leah is a DOLL BABY!!!! She is real shy at first -but she LOVES TO CUDDLE - LOVES to be held in your lap with a blanket over her and watch TV. She loves Treats, Chewies - and is a good eater. But I have to watch her, she must have a high metabolism - as it's hard to get her to keep weight on. I ALWAYS HEAT HER FOOD for her, I warm a half can of wet food - with 2 cups of dry kibble. She is also on Diamond- Rice and Chicken. I heat all their wet food in the microwave - and stir in the cooked rice and often baked chicken too. AND THEY LOVE IT. Smells wonderful - and they GOBBLE IT UP. Staying away from CORN is best for her as it gives her the RUNS too. Her FAV thing - is to eat dinner, and then get you to sit and just hold her and watch TV. She will CUDDLE and SNUGGLE with you all night, on the couch. SHE LOVES TO BE HELD. I doubt she got much attention till I got her. SHE IS JUST A BABY DOLL and there is nothing more FUN than to HUG and KISS HER and cuddle with her and watch the Animal CH. They all take their turns, sitting on my lap - to get snuggles and kisses. And as I said - we most often are watching Animal Ch - or Dog Town on Nat. Geographic. OR we do watch the Food CH a lot too. :) ALL MY DOGS LOVE TV. The TV is down on their level - in an entertainment center........and I leave it on when I am at work - so they have something quiet to listen to - but IF there are animals on - they will watch it.

Leah is patient, kind and gentle. She enjoys Kong toys - rawhide chewies, and loves dog cookie treats too. She is quiet most of the time, rarely barks. She is crate broke, and loves her clean blankets every day - that smell like lavender or vanilla stuff. :) She will chew up the soft blankets, if she gets bored in her crate ............but she feels her crate is her "safe - time out zone." She will often, go back in her crate - with the door wide open - when she is tired of playing with the others. She is often napping in her crate, door wide open, with the others laying in front of the tv. Leah is sorta shy around the other dogs..........but she will play with them sometimes. She and Dede often play together and get along great. She likes Jack and Max too.......THEY ARE ALL just ADORABLE SWEETIE PIES and I LOVE THEM DEARLY !!!!!!! I just can't tell you how much I love them all !!!!!! They are "my family." And it is so hard, to come to this decision. I know, this is the best decision for them. I just want to know they are loved and cared for - as much as I LOVE THEM. I feel blessed. But most of all - I FEEL VERY BLESSED BY IBR and it means more than I will ever have words to express - your offer to help me."
